Run Away with Me

This complete show for SATB choir begins with a struggle to decide whether or not to flee a seemingly hopeless situation. It takes a lot of effort to muster up the courage to take action, but the promise of love can help make the decision. Finding yourself in a new life can be fun and exciting, but eventually you find that running away just creates new problems - and ultimately coming home to the ones who love you is the best decision. Musical genres featured in the show include an edgy rock opener, a pop-rock change of pace, a romantic Broadway-style ballad, an alternative rock setup song, and a festive world music closer. There are a number of prominent vocal solos as well as the option to feature an electric guitarist throughout the show.
