This upbeat mixed-meter setting of Psalm 100 in Hebrew was inspired by
  Bernstein's Chichester Psalms. The difficulty level is moderate, suitable for
  high school, college, and community choirs. It was premiered by Triad:
  Boston's Choral Collective.

    1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
    
    2 Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.
    
    3 Know that the Lord is God.
    
    It is He who made us, and we are His;
    
    we are His people, the sheep of his pasture.
    
    4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving
    
    and His courts with praise;
    
    give thanks to Him and praise His name.
    
    5 For the Lord is good and His love endures forever;
    
    His faithfulness continues through all generations.

The poem by 19th-century Irish poet Ethna Carbery depicts a story common in Irish folklore: a young man is lured into the supernatural Celtic Otherworld (Tír na nÓg), where he loses all memory of his home and loved ones. In this Robert Frost setting for SA choir, piano, and violin, a modal melody expresses the presence of beauty in a seemingly desolate environment. The warm harmonies and flowing 6/8 meter lend themselves to expressive phrasing, with the violin part adding additional color if available. In the last verse, the tenors and basses have a 9/8 version of the classic hymn melody alongside the original material.
