Saturday Night Hoedown

All of the spirit and excitement of a Saturday night dance is captured in this rollicking duet.  Filled with rhythmic vitality, this music will not disappoint.  The Vandall sound is evident, and the slight modal flair (G mixolydian) adds to the charm of the piece.  Both parts are equal in difficulty and contain such elements as syncopation, accents, staccato, and blocked chords.  Written in 4/4 meter, the sixteenth note passages are divided between the hands and create a fun visual effect as well.
