Scherzo d'Espoir

Written specifically for six-part adaptable wind band, this work with a title meaning "Scherzo of Hope" is intended to invoke feelings of optimism during a time of such bad news and uncertainty. While rhythmically and harmonically engaging from beginning to end, it is the soaring, memorable melodies juxtaposed against the rhythmic and pulsating accompaniment that will tug at the heartstrings.
