Sea Breeze is an impressionistic chart for small group and is a trumpet feature throughout. Beginning with a rubato introduction, it alternates between rumba and swing styles, and Golson arranged it without solos except for the trumpet feature. As is typical of Golson's writing, there are fresh-sounding harmonies and voicings. This was originally recorded by Dizzy Gillespie on his 1957 album The Greatest Trumpet of Them All. Instrumentation: ATB saxes, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, drums and optional guitar.
