Seasons of Whim for Bb Trumpet

A solo performance piece suitable for use at the High School or College level and for Solo & Ensemble Competitions. The design of the song is somewhat modular: the various sections can be learned and mastered independently and then combined for performance. If used for judging or competition, it provides variation of note lengths, dynamics, interval changes, etc… to showcase the performers’ abilities. Seasons of Whim is a musical interpretation of the thought process following the realization that a life-changing (for yourself and those in your circle) decision must be made. Nothing will be the same afterwards.
