September Sun

This selection was written to reflect upon the horrific events of September 11, 2001. The piece consists of four movements, with the first and last being instrumental and the poignant poem of John Stirling Walker serving as the text of the middle movements. The work is reflective, giving space for the listener to think and absorb the richness of the text and music.
