Shalom

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives; do not be afraid." The Hebrew word "shalom" forms the refrains, and whispers of the word "peace" help the text gently unfold into a tender and comforting work that is simply elegant. Adapted here as a vocal duet but also available in a choral octavo version for mixed, treble, or tenor-bass choirs.
