ABOUT THE EVENT
New music reading sessions for elementary classroom music, middle and high school choral, concert band, and jazz ensemble - with in-person and virtual options. Join us to hear this year's best new music, handpicked by our experienced staff and presented by professional clinicians who can relate to you and your needs.

* Certificate of attendance for professional development use
* Earn graduate credit through the University of Mary (additional fee required).
In-person participants should bring a laptop, tablet, or phone to view the virtual reading booklets - there will be NO paper booklets provided this year.
Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees, along with a reception at The Paddle Trap restaurant (near the workshop site) on Thursday night from 9-11 PM.
I have attended every New Sounds event for the past 17 years except for the year I had my last baby! This is a highlight of my summer and something I always look forward to. I truly feel that JW Pepper does an amazing job of choosing high-quality clinicians and a broad variety of repertoire. I always leave refreshed and excited for the new school year. In addition to the quality, getting to visit with colleagues from across the state is some of the best professional development you can get!
