Originally composed for piano and included in Schumann's "Album for the Young," this tuneful, highly rhythmic piece in G Major, portraying a classic fox hunt, features excellent material, such as sudden dynamic changes and hooked bowings, for students who are just becoming familiar with the 6/8 time signature.
