Symphony No. 40, Movement No. 4

Often referred to as the "Great G Minor Symphony," the fourth movement Allegro Assai features a brisk tempo in cut time. The developmental section includes a remarkable modulating passage using all but one tone of the chromatic scale. Includes an optional bass clarinet part as a substitute for bassoon.
