Change Up

Based on the chord changes to Gershwin's I Got Rhythm, this bright swing chart was written especially for young groups. The brass ranges are accessible with trumpet up to Eb5 and D4 for trombone. The rhythm section parts provide the drummer with a solid concept of what to play, plus there are notated piano voicings and bass lines. The solo section is written out with solo sheets provided in all keys along with scales to assist improvisation. Playable with optional reduced or expanded instrumentations, it can work just as well at a slower tempo. Great for learning the swing idiom!
