This swinging blues chart in 3/4 meter is a nod to Miles Davis' classic All Blues. Doug Beach's arrangement frames the tune with influences from both Davis and the composer's own improvised lines. While the chart has plenty of full-ensemble work, there is also an open solo section that will provide a great showcase for your talented soloists. Sample solos are included, and there's a wonderful section where the individual horn sections alternate with the full ensemble. Very nice and highly recommended!
