workers adopted the song, and spread in popularity across the country. By the 1920's it became a standard campfire song for kids
and adults. Over 120 years later, it is still heard today. This arrangement is for a grade 2.5 mallet percussion ensemble (Bells, Xylophone Marimba, & Marimba). The marimba parts can be played on one four-octave marimba. Each part is given the melody.
