Shepherds, On to Bethlehem

This arrangement of the traditional Polish Christmas carol Przybiezeli do Betlejem celebrates the joy of both shepherds and angels as earth and heaven rejoice in the glorious event of the Incarnation. Two flutes playfully set the tone of this arrangement, with obbligato interludes growing as the piece progresses. With some variation between the seven verses, overall the tempo is energetic, brisk, and joyful.
