Short Hanon

These studies were developed to enable similar skills developed first by playing the original Hanon etudes. It is seldom in Piano playing that both hands simultaneously play the exact same patterns. Therefore Parts II and III were added to foster independence of the right and left hands while adding chord transition practice from root to first inversion, first to second, second to root. The studies may also be helpful for students wanting a shortcut to learning the patterns.
