A delightful piece based on Psalm 100 ("Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth,") this original features a beautiful melody with dynamic rhythms. The piece is arranged in three distinct sections: a spirited "joyful noise," reflection on "Know that the Lord, He is God," and an energetic "Enter His gates with thanksgiving," all following the contour of the psalm text. Optional narration will bring the scripture to life, coordinating text to music. Mallets and martellato techniques add excitement. Use this piece with any festive occasion in praise of God.
