Sidetracked

Here is a swinging minor blues! Inspired by two John Coltrane compositions, Mr. PC and Locomotion, this chart moves seamlessly between sections. After the introduction and initial statement of the melody there is a nice development section that gives a dramatic send-off to the solo section. There are written solos for trumpet, alto saxophone, and piano with a killer shout chorus.
