Silence Frost & Snow

This work, set homophonically for tenor/bass voices, celebrates the diverse beauty of the winter season. It can be performed with piano only or with the optional instrumental accompaniment for flute, clarinet, violin, cello, bass and percussion to make this a winter concert centerpiece. Even as the piece celebrates the winter, it looks forward; "Deep within my tranquil heart, the valiant prophecy of spring."
