Siman Tov

From the Seder ha-Kunteres - volumes of prayers, hymns, and poems from the historic Jewish community in Avignon, France - this Hebrew text celebrates birth, praise, life, and welcoming a new member into the community of love and support. With a lyrical opening, the musical texture gives way to a dance-like ostinato that echoes a good omen (siman tov) of abundant love. The translation and pronunciation guide are provided in the octavo.
