I was introduced to handchimes by a music teacher in the Czech Republic and loved them right away. I went on to write this piece for three groups of children with handchimes. A second version was added later with piano for a more “rocky” feel (optional). The children where we taught in Family English Camp caught on to the music easily, and the Czech teacher and I collaborated in preparing the piece for the rest of the camp. The results were enjoyable for all!
