Six Balls (I Love Cricket)

I love cricket. I watch all the England cricket matches on television and attend England cricket matches in person when I am available and am able to obtain tickets, which is sometimes difficult. Six Balls (I Love Cricket) for piano is written in five sections of 90 bars representing the five 90 over days of a Test match. An over comprises six balls. This piece is written in 6/4 time, meaning there are six beats to the bar just as there are six balls per over. Each 90 bar section is written with a different key signature reflecting the different characteristics and moods of each 90 over day, the ebb and flow of control, the ups and downs of each innings.
