Six Trios

Dutch composer Henk Tromp's charming Six Trios are an outstanding addition to the clarinet trio repertoire. They are quite effective in performance, but make minimal demands on range or technical skill, so could be used with a young ensemble. The trios do stand alone, so can be used individually for teaching purposes, but also make an excellent performance piece as a set for recital or ensemble contest. The Trios are titled as follows: On the Beach; Gentle Waves; Diving Dolphins; At the Coral Reef; Memories of a Old Sailor; and Going Home.
