Here is Myles Collins' take on Nelson Riddle's beautiful chart written for Ella Fitzgerald. It has been adapted to make it playable with a regular 5-4-4-4 big band lineup, while keeping the feel and flavor of the original arrangement. Alto 1 doubles Flute, Alto 2 and both Tenors double clarinet and Baritone doubles Bass Clarinet. However, it's recognized that not all bands can cover these doubles, so the parts are double-sided, with a no doubling version on the reverse side. The Flute lead can be taken by either Alto 1 or Tenor 1 as well. The brass ranges are moderate and the vocal part is notated as sung by Ella. The vocal key is A-flat throughout.
