Skylight

Inspired by the gentle arrival of morning light, this lyrical piece for string orchestra features long, flowing melodies passed throughout the ensemble. It's an excellent exercise in expressive rubato playing for early-intermediate players, encouraging sensitivity and musical nuance as the music gradually builds to a radiant climax.
