Slippery

Slippery for flute and guitar, a reworking of Shapiro’s Slip for violin and harpsichord, allows the guitar to become a chameleon, transforming into a host of different instruments, including dulcimer, koto, mandolin, rock n' roll keyboards, and bouzouki. Throw in some Cuban montuno rhythms for a little variety, and this piece is a whimsical, rollicking, giddy, and dramatic world tour.
