"Snapdragons" is a xylophone ragtime solo with marimba quartet accompaniment. The solo takes inspiration from classical George Hamilton Green tunes such as "The Whistler", "Ragtime Robin" and "Valse Brillante", but provides a modern metric and harmonic twist as well as the opportunity for an optional cadenza. The marimba accompaniment is meant to be played on two 5-octave marimbas. You can also find the solo with piano accompaniment instead.
