Snowglobe Dancer

Snowglobe Dancer is in 5/4 time as it is very much a broken waltz. The delicate tones and unusual harmony gave me the vision of a dancer inside a snowglobe who moves through her arabesques and pirouettes despite the snowfall all around her. The glockenspiel gives the music box effect as the vibraphone provides a wintery background. Texture from the rain stick and wind chimes, is accented by cymbals and gongs and the occasional thunder sheet. And when you shake up the globe she dances!
