Solstice

The main theme  a light and carefree tune over a spiccato accompaniment.  Next is a more lyrical and passionate middle which will bring out the big sound your strings are hoping attain.   The contrasting sections may represent the two different solstices, Summer and Winter, with the sprightly opening melody depicting Summer and the bittersweet legato passage representing the winter.  A very nice choice for your strings!
