Sophie and Lou

Sophie, a shy mouse, sets out to teach herself how to dance after she is enticed by the dancing she sees in the studio across the street. Taking a trip to a dance studio, host LeVar Burton intrOduces viewers to Jackie Rio, a Latin dancer. Jackie teaches LeVar the mambo, a dance from Cuba. Viewers will also see dances from all over the world including Bali, Ireland and Australia. LeVar then meets Huggy Ford as he shows LeVar hip-hop, a dance with movements based on African American dance. Huggy tells how he began dancing while he was playing football.
