Inspired by themes of hope and immigration, this expressive string orchestra work reflects journeys taken in search of a better future. Designed for multilevel ensembles, the piece works with just the Grade 2 A parts or with added simpler B parts, with additional violin and cello obbligato lines for advanced players. A supportive piano part enriches the harmony as the music builds toward an optimistic climax shaped by rich dynamic contrast and lyrical warmth.
