Spring Memories

Conceived as a pair of pieces, this work may either stand alone or be performed in tandem with Du var vinden, either simultaneously or one after the other. Based on Edvard Grieg's well-known and beautiful piano work Til varen (from the Lyric Pieces, Book 3, Op. 43), this transcription for voices may be performed a cappella or along with the piano work. The beautiful text uses a loose translation of Henrik Ibsen's poem Memories of Spring.
