Stick Steady

Stick Steady is a lively piece that sounds deceptively difficult when performed.  However, it is written in cut time for ease of reading.  Rhythms are limited to quarter notes and rests, grouped eighth notes and whole rests. Much of this piece is either in unison or close to it. There is a wide range of dynamic markings for this octet, as well as crescendos during solos, which should be followed closely to make it the exciting piece that it is.
