Still Small Voice

This is a quiet arrangement of the Ron Miles ballad. It is intended as a flugel/trumpet solo feature, but can optionally be done by trombone or guitar. It features a unique sense of harmony, phrasing and metrical structure. Alto sax 1 doubles flute, tenor 2 and baritone sax double on clarinets. The ranges for all wind instruments are easy to moderate, although the solo flugel line requires a fairly advanced player with a solid low end and good knowledge of chord changes.
