Still, Still, Still

With an unencumbered approach to this gentle carol, Mack Wilberg has chosen to set this Austrian gem to a choir of two-part mixed voices and piano-four-hands.  The result is sheer poetry.  While the voices outline the familiar melody with lovely countermelodies, the accompaniment is more restrained and functions as a mini-orchestra to enrich the chorals.  Very tastefully done!
