I composed and dedicated this piece to my band students at the Melaleuca Elementary School (Palm Beach County, FL). I always have the opportunity to observe my students performing levels and skills and write something for them, where they have fun and learn something new with little challenges. In our school, every grade has a house's names. Stolz (a German world for pride) is the name for the 5th grade. Stolz House Winter Tune is an Introduction-A-B-A piece for level 1 beginner band where band students will play unisons, duets, a few chords, melodies, and accompaniments. By adding the triangle and the sleigh bells, this piece fits perfect for your beginner band holiday concerts.
