Summer Rain – A shimmering opening movement, with delicate textures that suggest the soft and continuous patter of rainfall, evoking warmth, calm, and renewal. Catch & Grab – Playful and energetic, this movement brims with rhythmic vitality, darting figures, and quicksilver exchanges, giving the impression of a lively musical chase. Study in a Bach Prelude – A reflective interlude that reimagines the contrapuntal clarity of Bach through a contemporary lens, both affectionate and inventive. Mesmeric – Hypnotic patterns unfold in a trance-like atmosphere, built from repeating motifs and subtle harmonic colourations that draw the listener into a spellbound state. Hommage Bartóknak – A vigorous and percussive finale, honouring Béla Bartók with its raw energy, driving rhythms, and folkloric inflections, bringing the suite to a powerful conclusion.
