Supernova

This Grade 3 piece for string orchestra is meant to be played with intensity from beginning to end. The mixed meter and accented syncopations add to the energy and explosive nature of the piece. A contrasting section provides the orchestra with a bit of rhythmic relief and gives the listener a moment to reflect on the beauty and vastness of space before diving back into the driving rhythm of the explosion.
