Swing Low, Sweet Chariot

Swing Low, Sweet Chariot is a slow, gospel-like setting of the beloved spiritual that alternates between the laid-back gospel "swing" rhythms and faster, malleted rhythms. A center section, based on the happy and rhythmic spiritual Plenty Good Room, provides contrast and utilizes optional handchimes. Between the two spirituals, ringers are given the opportunity to ring with precision and energy, all while paying close attention to phrasing and dynamics and having great fun in the process!
