This composition was composed in 2019. It is called the Historic Symphony because each movement is based on an era of music history. The instrumentation changes throughout the symphony corresponding with the era of music each movement depicts. The eras include: Medieval, Baroque, Classical and Romantic. The symphony also depicts the progress of the piano throughout history. Parts of the composition also contain types of composition popular throughout history such as the string quartet and piano concerto. The last movement contains a choir which depicts the progress of the symphony through the eras. The lyrics for the Choral part are from an English translation of 'To the Full Moon Rising', by Wolfgang Von Goethe, who's poetry was popular to use throughout music history.
