Symphony No. 5

Although the instrumentation has been condensed from full orchestra to string orchestra, most of the original elements have been preserved. Arranged in the key of G Major instead of the original B-flat Major, it allows greater accessibility for student ensembles. This impressive masterwork offers students great exposure to the late Classical era and to the legendary melodic writing of Franz Schubert.
