Symphony of Solitarities

This choral symphony is about 30 min. long. At the first performance Anders Paulsson, world renown saxophonist to whom the symphony is dedicated, was soloist on soprano saxophone. The lyrics, written by the composer, are dealing with man's existential loneliness, a loneliness that we paradoxically share with all other people. In the second movement some choreographic elements are added, as well as solo parts for the choristers. The instrumentalist is expected to improvise parts of the music. The last movement, Solitude, is also available as a separate edition.
