Syncopated Swing

This solo combines rudimental percussion with electronic accompaniment to create an exciting, challenging, and rewarding experience for performer and audience alike. Written for a standard set of marching tenors, this up-tempo solo utilizes contemporary tenor drum playing techniques to make a recital piece for the advanced high school or college level student. Many intricate rhythms and split patterns must be carefully coordinated with the CD accompaniment in order to perform this work effectively.
