Tableaux

A tableau is a graphic description or representation of ancient days.  Based on that definition, the primordial F Aeolian mode is heard in a musical description in this moving work.  Sparked by a tranquil trumpet solo, and followed shortly by an exciting flute solo, the selection ends with dramatic ascending scale passages for all instruments in the band.
