Tailspin The Musical

Set in the Woeisme Animal Shelter, our newest show, Tailspin: The Musical, tells the story of Max, a sad old dog left by her elderly owners and Pumpkin, a feral stray cat otherwise known as "Killer," who desperately want to leave the shelter but for very different reasons. In addition to catchy songs and a clever storyline, this heartwarming show incorporates puppetry to tell a surprising and uplifting "tale."  Recommended for grades 5-9, the show runs 60 minutes and features 12 lead roles, including 7 animal puppet characters and a flexible ensemble. Seven fun songs range from 60’s funk to rap and soulful ballads in unison/two-part arrangements.  This product is solely digital and no hard copies are available. However, all materials (other than the performance tracks) are reproducible for any size cast. The complete Tailspin show contains the director's script with piano accompaniments, reproducible student script, lyric packet, rehearsal MP3s, performance MP3s, and director's guide with production notes, conversation starters, optional devotions for faith-based groups, and more. 10% of each musical purchased is donated to Therapy Pets United.
