A varied collection of eight solos for the developing four-mallet marimbist. Each of the engaging solos has its own programmatic spin, which makes it even more fun for performers and audiences alike. It gives beginning marimba players several opportunities to practice fundamental techniques as they grow into intermediate players. By learning the pieces in this collection, players will develop several fundamental musical skills, including basic stroke types, different permutations, dynamic range, and lyrical expression.
