Tango in D Minor

The artist will be mastering the tango dance rhythm in this show piece for the intermediate level. Written in D minor, 4/4 time, and using dotted rhythms, eighth note running lines, and combinations of staccato and legato, the pianist will have many opportunities for musical drama and expression. There are hand crossings, rolled chords, and use of the higher and lower registers of the keyboard.
