Tegucigalpa is a modern piece for violin and piano. It is based on a well-known poem Tegucigalpa by Honduran poet Roberto Sosa. The music paints a city filled with the sadness of its people. The piano goes into ostinato with a Latin rhythm, while the violin solo goes into upper position playing a laser-like sound. The violinist will alternate between playing the solo and reciting the poem throughout the piece. The violin portrays imagery from the lines like, ""arriba un cielo que huye (cut down in flight, under a fleeing sky)"".
