Tennessee Treasures

Tennessee Treasures is a spectacular late-intermediate musical tribute to the blues, jazz and country roots of Tennessee. The first movement is entitled Down on Beale Street and features a slow, bluesy swing. Beale Street is one of the most famous streets in Memphis and is also the home of blues musician W.C. Handy, who wrote Beale Street Blues. The second movement is entitled Ballad for Nashville and can be considered a moderate, country-style waltz. The third movement is majestic and soulful and is entitled Sunrise in the Great Smoky Mountains.
