He revised his interpretation of the tune several times over the years settling on this arrangement recorded by the "The American Jazz Orchestra." The A sections of this arrangement are set in a medium rhumba feel while the bridge swings. There are solos for alto saxophone and trombone. There is also an open solo section. This is not demanding to play and is a great example of Carter's writing and remains one of his most enduring standards.
